What a person has made tends to sit spread across whichever platforms it happened on. Those platforms redesign, change hands, or disappear, and the proof goes with them. A record of work should last a career. Mostly it doesn't.
Every member of Sunbeam, a community of people who build, holds a passport, one durable record of what they make. It is issued by invitation on the way into the membership, and it exists from day one. Its meaning grows with what gets stamped into it: Beams earned, stays on campus, disciplines learned, work shipped.
The passport is the first piece of Sunbeam to ship. The token is signed, the keys are published, and anyone can verify a passport offline without learning who holds it. How verification works.
