The skills are everywhere now — free, online, at 2am, in whatever order you like. What you can’t download is the room: people who pass you work, pull you up, and tell you kindly when you’re wrong. The scarce part was never the knowledge. It’s the company you keep.

The old model says learn first, do later. We think that line was always imaginary. So Community puts the people still figuring out what to learn — First Light graduates among them — in the same rooms as the people doing things in the real world.
